Gloria A. Smith

Gloria A. Smith, age 89, of Benton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016. She was born July 4, 1927, in Canton, Ohio. She moved to New York in 1946 and to Arkansas in 1949. Gloria was a registered nurse for 40 years and a member of First Lutheran Church in Benton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Norman Smith, two brothers, Sonny Tash and Kris Tash, and one sister, Toots Hagar. She is survived by three sons, John Hannahs and wife Sharron of Banning, California, Russell Hannahs and wife Cyndi of Benton and Michael Hannahs of Little Rock; one step-daughter, Linda Selden and husband Chris of Wake Forest, N.C.; one brother, Mac Tash of Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, 18181 I-30 Frontage Rd, Benton, Ark. 72015. Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Forest Hills.
