Robert L McClaran

Robert L. McClaran, 71, of Russellville, died Sunday peacefully at home. He was born on Oct. 8, 1945 in Memphis, Tenn. to Robert and Nell Hunt McClaran. Robert owned and operated Bob's Carpet Cleaning for many years. He played college football for the University of Tennessee Martin, and was an avid Razorbacks fan. As an avid duck hunter, Robert was a proud supporter for Ducks Unlimited. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Allie Hunt McClaran. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, David McClaran of Memphis, Tenn., and Brian and Dana McClaran of Malvern; three grandchildren, Morgan McClaran of Memphis, and Jack and Abigal McClaran of Malvern. All services are private and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
