Bonnie Mae Ruff

Bonnie Mae Ruff, 80, of Wilmot, died August 27, 2016 at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville, Mississippi. She leaves to her memory two children, Karen Freeman of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Anthony Ruff of Wilmot; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister, Shirley Terry of Denver, Colorado; brothers, Bennie, Michael and Jerome Terry of Denver, Colorado; special nieces and nephew, Connie Mosley of Little Rock and JoAnn and Bruce Edwards of California; a host of other relatives and friends. Family hour, 7-8 p.m. Friday September 2, 2016 at Dillard Funeral Chapel, 137 Front Street, Eudora. Funeral Service, 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Wilmot, Rev. Freeman, Pastor and Officiating Minister. Service entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 137 Front Street, Eudora.870-355-4888. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Wilmot. Mrs. Ruff was member of First Baptist Church, Wilmot, a graduate/alumni of Slack-LaGrande High School and a graduate of UAM-Monticello. She was the Director of the Wilmot Headstart Program, a retired teacher, substitute teacher, and foster grandparent while working at the Wilmot Elementary School. She loved working with children and was an advocate of education.Through her patience, giving spirit, and community involvement, she touched the lives of many.
