David Wayne Moss

David Wayne "Grubby" Moss, 67, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. He was born September 10, 1949, in Pine Bluff, to Charlie and Lillian Cummings Moss. He was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, graduating from Watson Chapel High School. He retired after 45 years from International Paper as a supervisor. He was the longest member on the board at Watson Chapel Water and worked 40 years at the Watson Chapel Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Moss was an active member of Rone Hunting Club and Port City Fishing Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, J.W. Moss. Survivors include a son, Michael Moss (Michelle) of White Hall; a daughter, Kelley Byrd (Steve) of Jefferson, Texas; step-children, Byron Davidson of Pine Bluff and Lora Harrell (Lonnie) of Pine Bluff; a sister-in-law, Shirley Moss of Pine Bluff; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Robinson's. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2016, Chapel of Ralph Robinson with Reverend Jimmy Moss officiating.
