Joseph David Hedrick passed away in St. Louis, Missouri, on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Born February 21, 1979, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Joe graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1997. After attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Joe traveled the country he loved. An avid outdoorsman and adventurer, he carried his love for life with him wherever he went. Joe's long list of passions included soccer, mountain biking, painting, Boy Scouts of America, running, and music. Always quick with a smile and a compassionate ear, Joe brightened the world around him, never hesitating to help friends or even complete strangers in need. Joe was the kind and genuine son, brother, and friend that some spend their lives searching for. Even during his extended travels, Joe never forgot his family and friends in Arkansas. They will never forget him. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Wayne and Sandra Hedrick, and his grandmother, Louise Harless. He is survived by his brother Jason, of Little Rock, Arkansas and countless family and friends who loved him and whom he loved dearly. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 16, at the Village Creek Baptist Church, 13224 Sardis Road Mabelvale, Ark. 72103.
