Eloise Durham of Little Rock and Fairfield Bay celebrated her 87th birthday August 25, 2016, and passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her home. She was born in Redfield to the late Jessie and Mary Alice Rinehart. Eloise worked at Timex for 27 years and owned Fourche Dam Grocery. She was a member of the Silver Streaks in Redfield, and a devoted participant in the Back of the Bus Razorback Fan Club. Preceding her in death were her first husband, Audie Gene Allen, Sr.; second husband, Eugene Durham; grandson, Robbie Allen; great-grandson, Aaron Bias; and three sisters. Remaining to cherish her memory are her sons, Gene (Detta) Allen and Bert (Jean Steiner) Allen; daughters: Mary (Richard) Mills, Martha (Tom) Harness, and Nancy (Joe) Montgomery; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, 501-224-8300. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Ico, Ark. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
