Thomas William Piker

Rev. Thomas William Piker, 90, died Thursday, September 22, 2016. He was born March 15, 1926 in Bradford the son of the late John Henry and Bertha Viola (Cunningham) Piker. He was a WWII veteran and an ordained Assemblies of God Minister. He was the pastor of the Bald Knob 1st Assembly of God and the past President of Bald Knob Ministerial Alliance. He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Scott) Piker; two sons, T. Winfield Piker and wife Judy and Lavon Piker and wife Sandra; a daughter, Sarah Linda (Piker) Hirons and husband Glen; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren, Ronald Anthony "Tony" Vire and Melinda Dawn Vire. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Services will be Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Bald Knob 1st Assembly of God at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy.
