Marjorie "Mickey" Burgess

Marjorie "Mickey" Burgess, 91, of Little Rock, passed away September 25, 2016. She has been a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church in Little Rock and later of Otter Creek First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill Burgess, and daughters, Karen (Rick) Petty and Lisa (Jay) Lea, both of Benton, and by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. E.T. and Thelma Burgess and son-in-law, Greg Moffett. The family would like to thank her many caregivers over the years at Fox Ridge, Bryant and Heartland in Benton, especially James and Lily. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander. A private graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
