Pebble Miller Wallace

PEBBLE MILLER WALLACE, age 85, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 in Little Rock. Mrs. Wallace was born October 30, 1930 in Rison, Ark., to the late Jasper and Vera Roberts Miller. On June 27, 1947, she married John J. Wallace in Rison. Mrs. Wallace received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She taught school in Pine Bluff and Little Rock. Mrs. Wallace was a member of First Baptist Church in Little Rock. She was also a member of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association. Mrs. Wallace was a preceded in death by sisters, Marceline Miller, Patsy Rawls, Jetta Vee Stokes and Dixie Allred; brothers, Billy Joe Miller, Morris Dean Miller. She is survived by her husband, John J. Wallace of Little Rock; daughter, Linda Marie (Mitch) Tapson of Little Rock; three granddaughters, Leslie Harper, Julie (Trey) Elliott, Emily (Brent) Pierce; eight great-grandchildren, Chloe Harper, Avery Harper, Emma Kate Elliott, Preston Elliott, Levi Elliott, Maddox Pierce, Addison Pierce, Luke Pierce; sister, Shirley Creasey of Pine Bluff. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, with Reverend Mitch Tapson officiating. Interment will follow in Rowell Cemetery near Rison. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Little Rock First Baptist Church, 62 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72212.
