Kathryn Ann Oppenheim

Kathryn Ann Oppenheim of Hot Springs Village passed away March 30, 2017 after a short illness. She was born July 11, 1933 in Garden City, Michigan to Clarence and Carolyn Johnston and graduated from Pinckney High School in 1951. She married Donald Oppenheim in 1953 and together raised six children. Kathy enjoyed golfing, bridge (or any card game), socializing and the occasional wager. She led an active life raising kids, cooking and baking and in her later years keeping busy with all her sweet friends in Hot Springs Village. She is survived by children David (Karen) Oppenheim of Germantown TN, Karen (Robert) Abrams of Alexandria VA, Nancy (Skipper) Bosley of Hot Springs, Thomas (Marie) Oppenheim of Bentonville, Timothy (Lisa) Oppenheim of Jonesboro AR, and Matthew (Kim) Oppenheim of Collierville TN. She was also the loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and her husband of 57 years. Kathy was an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village where a memorial service will be held on June 3, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to CedarVale - The Hot Springs Village Funeral Home.
