Marilyn Sue Frisby Ashmore VonTungeln, 59, of Grapevine, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017. She was born May 25, 1957 in Pine Bluff, daughter of Joe H. and Mildred A. Biggs Frisby. Marilyn was reared and received her early education in White Hall. She worked at Aramark for nearly 30 years, most recently as a department lead.Marilyn enjoyed spending with her uncle, Charlie Biggs. They enjoyed going to rummage sales and other shopping trips together. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who knew her as Nanny. She was preceded in death by her father; and previous husband, James Ashmore. Survivors include her husband, William Dale VonTungeln of Grapevine; daughter, Millie Jo (Robert Keith) McClain of Sheridan; mother, Mildred Biggs Frisby of White Hall; brother, Randy Joe (Angela) Frisby of Grapevine; step-children, William D. "Bubba" VonTungeln III of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Matthew Braden VonTungeln of Pine Bluff and Ashley Brianne (Justin) Cheek of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Magan McClain and Zachary McClain; and step-grandchild, Ryker Cheek. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Minister Parnell Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Robinson's.
