Shalyn Marie Baswell

SHALYN MARIE BASWELL, age 32, of Sherwood, Ark., passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2017. She was born in North Little Rock, Ark., to Shirley and Dale Baswell on Aug. 9, 1984. She was a loving mother to Myles Lane Burnett and worked as a registered dental assistant with CDL for the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile at Arkansas Children's Hospital. She is survived by her loving son Myles Lane Burnett; her mother Shirley (Ray) Miller; her father Dale Baswell; her brothers, Seth (Robin) Tolliver and Chris (Allison) Tolliver; her son's father Ben Burnett and Myles Lane's grandparents Teddy (Nancy) Burnett. She is also survived by her uncles, Vernon (Jeannie) Rogers and Billy (Naomi) Baswell and numerous extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Omega Baswell and Willis and Marie Rogers. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home, 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, Ark. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Levy United Methodist Church, 701 West 47th Street, North Little Rock, Ark.
