Wesley Art Byrd

Wesley Art Byrd, 72, of Clinton, Ark., passed away April 1, 2017. Mr. Byrd was born November 9, 1944 in Guy, Ark., to Herbert T. and Leona Byrd. He was a Vietnam veteran and electronics engineer. He loved guns, hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Conway, Ark., where he drove the church bus for the elderly. He was a Sunday School teacher at Cherrywood Baptist Church in North Little Rock and Parkview Baptist Church in North Little Rock. He is preceded in death by one daughters, Ginger Byrd Collie Sanders. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn Byrd of Clinton, Ark.; one daughter, Christi Lynn Sanders of Conway, Ark.; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Grace Byrd of Conway, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Doug Price of Conway, Ark.; three grandchildren, Katie Collie, Shelby Sanders, Nikki Sanders; two nieces, Holly Harris, Blyss Cruz; nephews, Stephen Weaver, Reed Weaver, Paul Price and David Price. He and his family have lived in North Little Rock, Conway, and Stephens, Ark. A private memorial service will be held by the family.
