Christine Naomi Autry, 91, of Sherwood, died April 10, 2017. She was born April 14, 1925 to the late Joseph and Clara Goates Moody in Copeland, Arkansas. Christine married Aubrey Doyne Autry in 1945 and was happily married for 45 years before his death in 1990. Prior to beginning her family and becoming a homemaker Christine worked as an elevator operator at the Donaghey Building where she was promoted to being in charge of all the elevators. She was also the fifth woman to ever work for Westinghouse. Christine was a member of First Assembly of God in North Little Rock for over 50 years and once served as a nursery worker for the church. She is preceded in death by her husband, one sister and her husband, Leta and Alvis Gibby; her brothers, Victor Moody, Charles Moody and his wife Dorothy, Glenn Moody and his wife Ruby, and Harold Moody. Christine is survived by two sons, Ron Autry (Susan) of Batesville, Steve Autry (Sheila) of North Little Rock; one daughter, Beverly Mascoe (Rick) of Sherwood; four grandchildren, Todd, David, and Daniel Autry, and Ryan Mascoe, four great-grandchildren, Ali, Jacie, Dawson, and Aubrey Autry; sister-in-law, Wilma Moody of Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 13 at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock with visitation one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 14 at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
