Thelma (Howell) Wilson, a follower of Christ for most of her 83 years on this earth, joined her eternal Father on April 10, 2017. hile her spirit is with her Lord, her physical presence will be sorely missed by her husband Bobby Lee Wilson; her daughter, Debra Renee McGohan (Larry); her son, Michael Lee Wilson (Jeanean); grandchildren, Michael Gene Wilson (Angela), Brock Aaron Wilson, and Lauren Wilson; her great-grandchildren, Michael Logan, Luke James, Hutch Walker and Hoyt Christian Wilson; her brothers, Dewey Howell (Elaine) and Wick Howell (Peggy); her sisters, Mary Agnes Caruthers (Virgil), Mamie Fite (Benny), Sue Watts (Herbert), and Dorothy Cato (Jack); and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Horace and Fay Dean Howell (Betty). The blue-eyed blonde was blessed to the rather large family of Willis and Delsey Howell on June 16, 1933, was raised in Amity, Arkansas with four brothers and four sisters. She married Bobby Lee Wilson on April 18, 1951, moving to North Little Rock in 1954 and residing there with her family until her passing. She was a housewife raising her children until 1967, when she began working at a newly-opened Wal-Mart, the company's 7th store and retired after 25 years at the same store. She was passionate about her work there and was a personal friend of Sam Walton. Her great passions were Christ, her family, and her country. She was fiercely competitive when she was a high school basketball player and later in life at dominos. We will always remember her fondly and love her always. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Roller Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400).
