Robert Kelly "Pete" Jones

Robert Kelly "Pete" Jones Jr. passed away on April 16, 2017 at the age of 56. Pete was born Feb. 21, 1961 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to Robert Kelly Jones Sr. and Vesta Kaye Jones. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Jones of Stuttgart, Arkansas, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Birdsong of Humnoke, Arkansas. He is survived by his parents; his partner, Ken Johnson of North Little Rock; two sisters, Kelly Diane Bock (Gary) of Roe and Kathy Jones Lee (Randy) of Roe; one brother, Kevin Jones of Little Rock; father-in-law, Ron Oliver of North Little Rock; and sister-in-law, Lindsay Oliver (Matt) of North Little Rock. He is also survived by one niece, Kristin Wilson (Stuttgart); and four nephews, Grant and Brandon Lee (Stuttgart) and Joshua and Madison Walker (Roe). Kelly worked in the real estate world for the last 30 years as a realtor, then becoming a broker, and eventually owning his own company. He will be missed tremendously by his family, friends, associates and his beloved pets, Bella and Bru. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Turpin Funeral Home in Stuttgart. Service will be Thursday, April 20, 2017, 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Stuttgart. Burial will follow at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart.
