Susan "Nana Sue" Stringfellow

Susan "Nana Sue" Stringfellow, 68, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, April 15th. Born in Lake Village, Arkansas to parents Alvin and Vera Dean, she was a resident of North Little Rock for over 47 years. Sue was a feisty woman who knew what she wanted to do and did it. She loved to fish with Jesse and she especially loved spending time with her grandsons and talking with her daughter. Sue bravely fought cancer three different times, always on her terms. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tonja and Felicia with Hospice Homecare for their loving care during Sue's illness. Sue is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Michael and Kenneth Weathers. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jesse Stringfellow ; daughter, Angie Reynolds Shelton; grandsons, James Creed Wells II and Jesse Chandler Wells and her sister, Violet Hodges. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 19th at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., NLR with visitation beginning at 9:30 am. Burial immediately following in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family would like everyone to be casually dressed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Homecare, 12120 Col.
