Helton Gail Price, age 75, was born at home in Holland, Arkansas, on August 28, 1941 to Elmer Eugene and Betrice Phillips Price. He graduated from Conway High School in 1959, attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a data processing/computer operations degree from Petit Jean Vocational Technical School. He worked 32 years for the state of Arkansas, Department of Finance and Administration. When he retired in 2000, he was the Administrator of Arkansas State Revenue Offices. He is survived by his mother, (Betrice Phillips Price), sister, Paulette Ross (James), five children, Holly Meriweather (John), Daren Price (Sarah), Kim Suggs, Kaye McCarty (Pat) and Karen Donham (Jason); 11 grandchildren, Matthew McCarty (Colby), Nick Suggs (Rosemary), Christopher McCarty (Kaitlen), Landon Meriweather (Hailey), Sidney Beth Meriweather, Olivia Riddle (Jansen), Lindsey Suggs, Heather Donham, Hollan Donham, Hannah Donham, and Ava Price; and two great-granddaughters on the way. There were also many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention that he stayed in contact with. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Eugene Price. He was a member of Pickles Gap Baptist Church, involved in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), and an avid hunter (but never without Rowdy, his beloved little buddy). A Memorial Service will be held at Pickles Gap Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas, at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017. Services entrusted to Roller McNutt Funeral Home Conway, Arkansas.
