Leonard Small, 87, of Rison, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Green House Cottages of Southern Hills in Rison. Mr. Small was born Feb. 17, 1930, in Calmer, Ark., to the late Fitzhugh "Buck" Lee and Lyda Pearl Reed Small. He was reared and received his education in Woodlawn. He married Nannie Josephine Glover on July 16, 1949, in Sheridan. Mr. Small worked for Borden's Dairy for 38 years before retiring in 1996. He was a member and Deacon of Center Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Small is survived by his wife, Nannie Glover Small of Rison; a daughter, Judy Stuckey of Woodlawn; two sons, Tom Small and his wife Elizabeth of Little Rock and Larry Small and his wife Myra of Springdale; four grandchildren, Julie Harrison and her husband Roger of Woodlawn, Brad Stuckey and his wife Tracy of Rison, Cary Koss and her husband Brian of Little Rock and Brian Small and his wife Genna of Springdale; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Bob Small and his wife Jo Fern of Pine Bluff; and his sister, Margaret Austin of Pine Bluff; and his brother-in-law, Arnis Glover of Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Billy Joe Small; and two brothers, Charles and Allie Small. The family will receive friends Monday, April 24, 2017, 1-2 p.m., at Robinson's. Funeral services will be Monday, April 24, 2017, 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Donnie Blackerby officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
