Charlie Burns

Charlie Burns, 74, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his home. He was born May 28, 1942 in Leavenworth, Kan., to Charlie Crockett and Fay Barnett Burns. Charlie was a Truck Driver. He worked at Highland Dairy for 42 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Dessie Lee Burns of 38 years; two sisters, Ruby Peoples and Mary Tilley; one great-granddaughter, Adalyn Hope Petryszak. Survivors include his son, Melvin Andrews and Donna of Springdale; his daughter, Karen Burns of Lincoln; his son, Charles Burns and wife Kathy of Springdale, his son, Perry Davis and wife Brenda of Goshen, his son James Burns and wife Sarah of Springdale, his son, Leslie Andrews of Goshen; his brothers, Jimmy Burns and William Burns; he had 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. At Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Danny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Burkshed Cemetery.
