Bill Walton hoffman

Bill Walton Hoffman Jr., age 65 of Delaware, Arkansas, died April 19th, 2017 at his home surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born February 7, 1952 in Little Rock to Bill Walton Hoffman Sr. and Mary Sue Daniel Hoffman. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1970 and became a member of the Air National Guard during the Vietnam War. After his service, he pursued his pilot's license and became a crop-duster where he served the farmers of Prairie County for 32 years. He was a longtime member of the "Peckerwood" Lake Hunting Club in Tollville and a Leader of the Saints Social Club. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Walton Hoffman Sr. and his great-uncle, Robert Hoffman. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Gwen Hart Hoffman of Delaware; two daughters, Alison Hoffman Ashworth and husband Billy of Fayetteville, Melissa Elaine Hoffman of Bentonville; his mother, Mary Sue Hoffman; one brother, Randy Hoffman of Oakland; one sister, Sue Ann "Bipper" Hoffman of Little Rock; one sister-in-law, Peggy Hoffman of Paron and one grandson, Gabriel Hoffman Ashworth of Fayetteville. There are also many beloved extended family members too numerous to mention. Bill was an avid reader and passionate outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing for many years. He loved spending time with his family and grandson. He was known to many as "Scoot", "Peepaw", or "Crop" and had many friends and family who loved him dearly. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, Arkansas 72205. Visitation will be held Saturday, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
