Erin Elizabeth Duncan

Erin Elizabeth Duncan, age 22, of Elkins, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017, in Jasper, Alabama. She was born on November 22, 1994, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Tommy and Kim Shackelford Duncan. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Gene Shackelford. Erin had a very strong faith in God beginning at age ten when she was baptized with her Poppa Gerald. She was an avid and accomplished barrel racer. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and off roading. She truly loved all animals and everything outdoors. She was an employee of George's, Inc. She is survived by her parents, Tommy and Kimberly Duncan of the home; her brother, Caden Duncan of the home; her dog Dally; her paternal grandparents, Gerald and Betty Duncan of Elkins; her maternal grandmother, Linda Shackelford of Elkins; her step-grandfather, Dick Coberly of Elkins; her three uncles, Kevin Shackelford and wife Tina of Hindsville, Clay Shackelford of Crosses, and Gerald W. Duncan and wife Paulette of Springdale; and her aunt, Tamara Greene of Fayetteville. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Christian Life Cathedral at 1285 Millsap Rd., Fayetteville, Ark. 72703.
