Charles W. Walters Jr.

Charles H. Walters Jr., went to be with his Lord on April 27, 2017. He was born November 28, 1941 in Qulin, Missouri to the late Cleoria Ann Stocks Walters and Charles H. Walters Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher and two grandchildren. He retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. He later retired from the Corp of Engineers. He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Florence French Walters, his daughter Annetta Lynn Ray (Greg) of Florida, his son, Charles E. Walters (Scarlett) of Hot Springs, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank his cancer caregivers and Hospice for the care given to Mr. Walters. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Bro. Royce Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
