Jeffrey Thomas Arens

Jeffrey Thomas Arens, 63, died unexpectedly at his home in Fayetteville on July 27, 2017. Jeff was born in Washington, D.C. on December 15, 1953 to William H. and Jean Marie Arens. He was a 1986 graduate of the University of Arkansas, was an accomplished pilot, holding a commercial pilot's license, and was a certified scuba diver. Over and above these accomplishments, he was a loving husband to his wife of 28 years, Sue, and a devoted father to his three children. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, and his older brothers, Bill and John. He is survived by his brother, Richard of Fayetteville, and his sister Catherine Vincent of France. Jeff is also survived by his children, Benjamin, Tommy, and Rebeccah, grandchildren, Dylan, Makaila, Hannah, Zenna and Millie, numerous nieces and nephews, and many old friends. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Rest in peace, Jeff. We will miss you.
