Donna Wilson Fincher

Donna Wilson Fincher, 99, formerly of Little Rock passed away on July 30, 2017 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born June 20, 1918, in Bradford, Arkansas to James Henderson Wilson and Nellie Bell McFarland Wilson. She married Greene Fincher on April 5, 1947 in Dermott, Arkansas and lived in Little Rock until moving to Texas some ten years ago to be near her daughter. Mrs. Fincher was a school teacher and taught for over 40 years, primarily at Oakhurst and Williams Elementary until her retirement. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and her husband. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Ann and Larry Stanley of Richardson, Texas; two grandsons, Justin and Michelle Stanley of Richardson, Texas; and Nick and Courtney Stanley of Garland, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Kate Stanley; and one great grandson, Dez Stanley, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock, Ark. 72204, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 with a graveside service at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Park.
