Allie Faye Warren

Allie Faye Warren, 89, of Star City died Tuesday at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born July 4, 1928 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late, Corbin and Ollie Baker Parham. She was a retired clerk for United Dollar Store and the Pizza Place. She was a member of the Lincoln Avenue Church of Christ in Star City and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Preston D. Warren, a brother, Kennie Parham, a sister, Mildred Walker and a great niece, Caitlyn Caskey. Survivors include her son, Preston S. Warren (Pam), her daughter, Paula K. Warren Moore (Paul) all of Star City, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Gary Dutton and Landon Dutton officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lincoln Avenue Church of Christ in Star City. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Saffold, Greg Socia, T.G. Thompson, Ronnie Thomas, Richard Thomas, Dakota Caskey, David Austin, and Landon Dutton.
