Timothy Allen Braden

Timothy Allen Braden, 29 of McGehee, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Monticello. He was born April 21, 1988 in Bastrop, LA to John and Connie Trigleth Braden. Timothy attended Overcoming Faith Worship Center in Star City and was a veteran of the Arkansas National Guard. He was a deputy sheriff for the Drew County Sheriff's Department since February and had been a police officer with the McGehee Police Department for 3 years. He was a past Eagle Scout of the year in Star City, a member of the Veteran Affair's in McGehee and was a former Star City Bulldog. Timothy was preceded in death by a sister, Summer Braden. Survivors include his wife, Alyssa Lloyd Braden of McGehee; his parents, John and Connie Braden of Star City; son, Drake Braden; 3 daughters, Mallory Braden, Adilynn Braden and Sophie Braden, all of McGehee; brother, Chris (Sarah) Trigleth of Star City; and sister, Tasha (Josh) Dickey of Woodlawn. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Star City High School Auditorium with Bro. Don Borland and Sheriff Mark Gober officiating. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Burial at Flat Creek Cemetery in Fountain Hill (Ashley County). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arkansas Sheriff's Association, 1400 West 4th Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72201. Pallbearers are Shiloh Jordan, Mitch Grant, David Wesson, Chris Grider, Darren McAdoo and Chris Austin. Honorary pallbearer is Jarrett Plunkett. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
