James Thomas "JT" Thompson

James Thomas "JT" Thompson, 91, of Cabot, formerly of North Little Rock, left this world to go to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. James was born in McRae, Arkansas to the late William and Myrtle Johnson Thompson. He was a World War II Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, his beautiful wife, Marguerite; three brothers, Shelby Edward, Void and Billy Thompson, one sister; Dessie Faye Powell. James is survived by his companion of 27 years, Betty Benson; his son, Phillip Anthony Thompson; Betty's children, Peggy Jordan, Terri Moody, Lonnie Benson; and a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 100 Conway Road and Omega Street, North Little Rock, Ark. 72117. Visitation will be at 9 a.m., one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
