Ericka Danielle Cannady of Furlow, was taken to be with the Lord November 15, 2017. Born January 2, 1996, she was the daughter of David Wayne & Dee Ann Cannady. She will still graduate in May from the University of Central Arkansas with a double major in both Creative Writing and in Linguistics. She was president of the UCA World Languages Club and the Linguistics Society. She was an English as a Second Language tutor with Literacy Action of Central Arkansas. In addition, she was heading to Japan after college to teach English as a second language. She was an extraordinary young lady who cared deeply for everyone. She had a lovely spirit that brought a shining light to everyone she met. She described herself as a citizen of the world because as an Air Force Dependent, she had seen much of it in her 21 years of life. She was fearless, whether she was waving from the tallest peak of our new roof or piloting a plane for the first time. She could calm an injured animal with little effort. She will always be our chicken whisperer. She was a natural leader who always wanted to make the world a better place. She will be missed greatly by her loving parents to whom she is their entire world, her bonus parents, Ronnie & Dena Hinely, her best friend since they were five years old, Sarah Hinely, her "Grannies Gone Wild" Paulette Coger Cannady and Starla Aycock, her Pap-paw, Lucky Dee Vincent, the entire Cannady clan, Vincent clan, many other relatives and friends past and present. Services will be at Austin Station Baptist Church, 202 N 2nd St, Austin, Ark. 72007, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. Cremation arrangements are by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
