Nina Eddleman Johnson, 77, of Hot Springs Village passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Hot Springs. She was born February 26, 1940 in Lee County, Arkansas to Nell Mercer Eddleman and James Woodrow Eddleman. Nina was a member of the Village Church of Christ, loved gardening, sewing, and crafts of many kinds. She was a "full-time grandmother" and loved her entire family with everything she had. She was known to be one of the most strong, brave, and positive ladies around. Nina loved unconditionally, and she never met a stranger. Her friendly and selfless personality was something that drew people to her. She faced everything in life with courage and faith and never let any circumstance overcome her. Nina was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and her memory will be cherished by all the loved ones she leaves behind. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William A. "Bill" Johnson. Nina is survived by her sons, Tony and spouse, Susan Vichick-Johnson, Timothy Brent Johnson and his spouse, Nathan Higginbotham; her daughter, Julie Nell Jeznach; four grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth Eddleman, Mike Eddleman, Steve Eddleman; and many other extended family members and friends. A funeral service will be Sunday, December 3, 2017, 2:30 p.m. at Village Church of Christ with Reverend David Tappe officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior, beginning at 1:30 p.m. A private family interment will follow at CedarVale Cemetery. The family requests memorials be sent in Nina's name to Village Church of Christ; 210 Balboa Rd, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, 71909.
