Robert Glen Davis

Robert Glen "Bob" Davis, 82, of Benton, passed away December 3, 2017. He was born February 17, 1935 in Little Rock to the late John A. and Lillian Eva Norman Davis. Bob was a longtime member of Northside Church of Christ and retired first from Reynolds Metals as a Power House Operator and then from North Little Rock Hydro Electric Company as a Power House Operator. Bob loved his family, the outdoors and was an avid hunter; he was a longtime member of the Tull Hunting Club. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Davis of Benton, sons, Robin Glen Davis of Florida, Mark Anthony (Melissa) Davis of Benton, daughters, Vickie Lynn (Michael) Brown of Bentonville, Eva Lee-Ann Davis Jones of Benton, brothers, Jeff Davis of Benton, Doyle Davis of Marietta, Georgia, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jim Womack, Kyle Rea, Matthew Earp, Lucas Earp, Shayne Yarberry and Christopher Brown. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. on Friday with Jim Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be at Ashbys, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Corin Read Church Camp in Bauxite, c/o Northside Church of Christ of Benton, Arkansas.
