Charles Rodgers

Charles Rodgers, 68, of Star City died Tuesday at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. He was born July 16, 1949 in Pine Bluff to the late W.A. and Lucy Ferguson Rodgers. He was a child of God, being a member of First Baptist Church in Star City and was a retired truck driver for Wal Mart. He was a member of Oak Grove Hunting Club and an avid hunter and fisherman. Also preceding him in death was a brother-in-law, Ken Peebles. Survivors include two sisters, Suzanne Rodgers Peebles of Conway and Lynne (Les) Rodgers Alder of Tarry; nephews, Kenneth, Jason (Stacye) and Alex; nieces, Hannah and Lindley; great-nephews, Evan and Izayah and great-niece, Zoe. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday at Shell Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Jefferson County with Bro. Roger Glover and Bro. Jarrod Pettit officiating. Burial at Shell Chapel Cemetery.
