Verna Rae Thompson

Verna Rae Thompson, 72 of Rogers formally of Fayetteville passed away Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Sept. 6, 1945 in Fayetteville to James Arbuckle and Rachel Taylor-Arbuckle. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Jerry Thompson of the home; children, Robert, Debarh, Olen, Crystal and Misty; two sisters, Owana and Joyce; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be 9 a.m., Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 at the funeral home, 199 Harmony Road, Huntsville with Pastor Johnny Lee Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery at Crosses. Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
