EARL DWIGHT NOBLE JR., 89, died Dec. 8, 2017 at home with family and friends. He was born in Jacksonville, Ark., Sept. 13, 1928, the son of Earl Dwight Noble Sr. and Erma Wilson Noble. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel Prine Noble, daughter and son-in-law Doris June Brown and Danny Brown, daughter Rena Marie Knight and his second wife Jayma Stephens Noble. He enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, fishing and flying, and he loved to travel. His business interests included owning and operating a Texaco service station for many years, CLU agent for Prudential Insurance and various real estates ventures. He was a devout Christian and most recently, a member of The Church at Rock Creek. Earl was extremely outgoing and enjoyed meeting and befriending many people. He was a loving brother, good friend to all he knew and a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather with a wonderful sense of humor. Survivors include his sisters, Norma Noble Roady, Houston, Texas and Linda Noble Smith (Bob), Rogers, Ark.; son-in-law, C.A. "Al" Knight; granddaughter, Ashley Swann; grandson, Benjamin Brown; and several great-grandchildren. A special thanks is given to "Earl's Girls" Sarah Johnson and Meredith Doggett, for their devoted service, care, and love. Services were Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at 2:30 p.m., visitation was at 2 p.m., at Little Rock Funeral Home 8801 Knoedl Court, (501) 224-2200.
