Jerry Duane Bowerman

Jerry Duane Bowerman, age 67, of Lincoln, died Monday, December 11, 2017 in Fayetteville. He was born July 25, 1950 in Fayetteville, the son of Gene and Lucille Dutton Bowerman. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Janet Bowerman and a brother, Gary Bowerman. He was an employee of Sweetser Properties for 32 years. He was a farmer, carpenter, a man of God and never met a stranger. He was a member of Unity Covenant Church in West Fork where he also served as a door greeter. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cindi Bowerman; three daughters, Luci Johnson and husband Chris; Becky Doss and Leah Bowerman all of Lincoln; one son, Greg Bowerman and wife Shawnna all of Lincoln; eight grandchildren, Marti, Grayson, Dalton, Chase, Taylor, Garrett, Destiney and Gage; a sister, Geneva Harp and husband David of Springdale; a great-grandchild, Hadley Doss and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Unity Covenant Church in West Fork. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday at Unity Covenant Church followed by burial at Buckeye Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
