Iris Lester Long Jr.

Iris Lester Long Jr., 47, of West Fork, Ark. passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 in Little Rock, Ark. He was born December 22, 1969 in Helena, Ark. to Iris Lester Long, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Beard) Long. He is the retired Director of Curriculum for West Fork Public Schools. He was a graduate of Lyon College in Batesville, Ark. and received his Masters at The University of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Long, one daughter, Camryn Long of the home and one son, Joshua Long of the home. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Scaife of West Fork, Ark., and two sisters, Lisa Hadder and Deborah Scaife both of West Helena, Ark. A visitation will be held at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, December 15th. The family will not be present at the visitation. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, December 16th at West Fork Baptist Church with Reverend Heath Clower officiating. Burial will follow at West Fork Cemetery.
