Ronald "Ronnie" Cook

Mr. Ronald H. 'Ronnie' Cook, age 80, of Forrest City, died Thursday at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. He had been in the hospital for the past month. Mr. Cook was born July 5, 1937, in Carlisle, and was the son of Charles Edward Cook and Ina Elizabeth Haggard Cook. He lived in Forrest City most of his life, and was retired from Sanyo and Sharp Corp. of America in Memphis. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he was a faithful member of the Men's Bible Class. Mr. Cook married Sandra Tabor in 1966, and she survives him along with one daughter, Casey Herron, and husband, Jason, of Forrest Cityl one brother, Cecil Edward Cook of Spiro, Okla.; and one grandson, Waylon Herron. Services for Mr. Cook will be held at the First United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, with burial in Lindsey Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the UMAC at the First United Methodist Church, 1 p.m., until the time of the service. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
