Bessie Livingston

Bessie "Bess" Livingston, 98, passed away December 17, 2017. She was born February 10, 1919, in Edgemont, Arkansas to the late Robert and Lena McKay Chambers. Bess taught Sunday school and was a member of Mabelvale First Missionary Baptist Church. She had a green thumb, and just loved growing flowers. She was an excellent seamstress, and often sewed for others. She made the best chicken and dumplings and lemon pie. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rex Y Livingston; four brothers; and four sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet St. John (Walter) of Benton; and Anne Blann of Little Rock; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas, 72002, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
