Jimmy Reynolds Lieblong, 85, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord, Monday, December 18, 2017. He was born in Greenbrier July 27, 1932 to the Late George Lester Lieblong Sr. and Bessie Lucille Lieblong. Jimmy graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1951; He received his BSE at Arkansas State Teacher College from 1955-1958. He served in the Army in the Korean War from 1953-1955. Jimmy retired as principal of Quitman High School after 20 years and more than 30 years of teaching. He was of the Methodist faith. Jimmy was a founding member of the Board of Directors for the Cleburne County Water Association. In 1990 he was hired to coordinate and administrated the 9-1-1 emergency telephone system in Faulkner County. Jimmy was an avid outdoors man, who loved to fish and hunt. The past 7 years he was a greeter for the Arkansas Peddler's Antique Mall. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sammie Sue Lieblong, son, Blake (Sally) Lieblong of Springhill, Ark., daughter, Jan Ham (Rick) of Republican, Ark., two sisters, Margaret Vann and Nancy Mallett both of Greenbrier, brother, G.L. (Cissy) Lieblong of Scottsdale, Arizona, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to thank the VA Hospital Administration, Conway Regional Rehab, and Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab for their great care. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
