Mary "Beth" Holman, 55, of Bryant, Ark., died Wednesday, December 20, 2017, surrounded by her family and friends after a valiant fight with scleroderma. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through her journey. She was born to the late Jack Michels and Norma Jean Michels on June 6, 1962. Possessing a true servant's heart, Beth faithfully cared for family and friends through delicious cooking/baking – including cake decorating, and baking desserts for the Dream Center. A woman of faith and the heart of her family, Beth shaped their spirituality by her tireless Christian example, and also through various prayer groups and activities. With a real zest for life, Beth loved to read, pray, travel and spend time with her grandchildren. Beth as a beloved wife to Ken Holman, a devoted mother to Courtney Robinson and Lindsey Overman, and a remarkable Nanny to her four grandchildren, Kylie, Abby, Skylar and Sawyer. Beth was survived by husband, Ken Holman; sister, Sheryl Jacobson and her husband Dean; brother, Michael Michels; daughters Courtney Robinson and her husband Sy, and Lindsey Overman and her husband Clint; four grandchildren: Kylie Robinson, Abby Robinson, Skylar Overman and Sawyer Overman. She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Norma Jean; brother Mark Michels; and a sister Melinda Michels. Funeral services will be held at New Life Church in Bryant, Ark., at 11 a.m on Saturday, December 23, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saline County Humane Society or Arkansas Dream Center.
