Joseph J. Habel

JOSEPH J. HABEL, 81, of Sherwood, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017. He was born April 9, 1936 to the late Joseph John Habel and Agnes Veverka Habel in Phillips, Wis. He served in the Air Force for four years and retired from the Chrysler Corporation after 30 Years of service. He took up another trade with Richardson Plumbing and worked there for 20 years. Joseph attended 1st Assembly of God in North Little Rock. He is survived by his wife, Carol Habel; two sons, Michael Habel (Mary) and Mark Habel (Sherri) both of Sherwood; six grandchildren, Jessica Habel, Justin Habel, Kelly Stillman, Brittney Peeks, Mandy Duncan, Rachel Habel; and six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Drace, Weston, Ace, Hayden, and Wolfrum; one sister Shirley Olszewski of Milwaukee, Wis., and two brothers, Albert Habel (Dori) and Gene Habel (Brenda) both of Milwaukee, Wis. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan, 4, 2018 at 1st Assembly of God, 4501 Burrow Dr., in North Little Rock, AR 72116 with Pastor Rod Loy officiating.
