Nancy Leona Hoffman

Nancy Leona Hoffman, 56, died at Heritage Living Center in Conway, Tuesday, January 31, 2017. She was born January 25, 1961, in Conway, Ark. to Homer and Alta Hoffman of Vilonia. Nancy had Down syndrome and was among the first students at the Faulkner County Day School in the mid-1960's. Later she attended Conway Work Force. She was a 21-year resident of Cottonwood Group Home in Morrilton and moved to Heritage two months ago. Nancy considered Cottonwood her home and the staff and residents a part of her family. She enjoyed watching old western shows; her favorites were "Rawhide" and "Bonanza". Her hero was John Wayne. Nancy loved to sing old-time gospel and Grand Ole Opry songs. She knew by heart all the words to her favorite songs. Nancy was preceded in Death by her parents. Survivors include two sisters, Doris Hutchins of Conway and Connie (Keith) Bolton of Vilonia; three nieces, one nephew and numerous cousins. Nancy was a member of the Church of Christ. The family would like to thank the staff at Cottonwood Place, Heritage Living Center and Kindred Hospice for their loving care and support. Donations in Nancy's memory may be made to Cottonwood Place, 610 W. Church, Morrilton, Ark. 72110. Visitation will be 12 noon Friday, February 3, 2017 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
