Alfonso (Al) Gracia Galindo, 75, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. He was born to Encarcion Galindo and Julia Gracia Galindo on June 25, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a sheet metal worker and also a letter carrier by trade. As Connie's second husband, Al became part of her family and blended into one. He established many family traditions, two of which were Christmas tree trimming parties-family only please, and Easter Pinnacle Mountain picnics. After he became ill in 2005 all his children were eager to assist and accommodate him. One particular grandson, Andrew had a special bond with Al. When he was first walking, Connie observed him dragging his right foot while walking behind Grandpa. Al was so flattered, as imitation is the greatest form of flattery. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tracy Lovato; two sisters, and eight brothers. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Connie Galindo; sons, Donald Lovato; Stephen Briner; Stewart Briner; Adam Briner; Aaron Briner; daughters, Sandee Lovato; Michelle Briner, numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Father Mark Wood officiating, burial to follow at Hicks Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen, Stewart, Adam, Aaron, Brandy and Andrew Briner. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2017 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800.
