Alvin Richard Halford

Alvin Richard Halford, 75, of Jacksonville, passed away on February 3, 2017. He was born on March 10, 1941 in Ulman, Arkansas to the late Sherman Grant and Martha (Schroeder) Halford. Besides his parent, he was preceded in death by one brother; Milton Halford. Alvin was Vice President of Equity National Insurance Company for 29 years. He served in the Air National Guard and was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include his wife; Leanne Halford, three daughters; Paige Wolff (Steve), Jennifer Averett (James) and Tammy Solly; one brother; Carl Halford, six grandchildren; Steven Wolff, Cody Wolff, Richard Wolff, Nikki Wolff, Scarlett Averett, Sean Solly, three great-grandchildren; Jackson Wolff, Jaselyn Wolff and Grant Wolff. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Floyd in Romance, Arkansas with Pastor David Dillon officiating.
