Sara Ann Kaufman O'Kelley of North Little Rock, born January 14, 1926 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Marguerite and Marcus Kaufman. She died in the Hope of Israel on Monday, February 6, 2017. Sara was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Marcus Kaufman and her sweetheart, Dallas Ted O'Kelley. She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Corzine (John), April Ebbing (Keith) and Teddi Metzer (Steve); two grandchildren, Jason Corzine (Jennifer) of Denver, Colorado and Carma Corzine, of Fayetteville; three great-grandchildren, Cam, Cole and Cass Corzine of Denver, Colorado and her two stray feral cats and Myrtle the turtle. Sara was a Christadelphian and had a love for Israel and the Jewish people. Her great-grandparents were Abraham and Sara Kaufman. Sara had an ironic sense of humor, she strove to avoid being judgmental and often spoke of exercising the law of kindness. She eagerly awaited the return of Israel's messiah and the setting up of His Kingdom on earth and resurrection from the grave. She was grateful that God allowed her to maintain her independence until the end and appreciated her girls and friends that assisted her to remain in her own home. She will have a private family graveside service, with Brother Bill Jones officiating. Arrangements by Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
