Ernest Dean Parnell

E. Dean Boyd Parnell, 78, of Benton, passed away February 7, 2017. She was born April 9, 1938 to the late J.H. Boyd and Cordie Davenport Boyd. Dean was employed for 37 years by Southwestern Bell. She loved camping and shopping. Dean was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Jane Boyd, Joyce Blucker and Pat Hall. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry Parnell and sister, Sandra Young. Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Forest Hills Cemetery.
