Helen Marie Womack, 86, a lifelong resident of Bentonville, went to her eternal home, surrounded by family, Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Legacy Village Cirlce of Life in Bentonville, Ark. She was born February 1, 1931 in Bentonville to William E and Reva D Brewer. She graduated from Bentonville High School with the class of 1949. She married James F Womack August 21,1949, her beloved husband of 67 years. She worked for the Bank of Bentonville 12 years and  Bentonville Public School Administration office for 26 years as bookkeeper and District Treasurer. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, growing flowers, camping, garage sales, flea markets and antiques. After retiring in 1990 she and James enjoyed traveling, Attending bluegrass Festivals and maintaining several flea market booths. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Charles, Bob, Paul, Joe, Carlyle, and George Brewer; and three sisters, Florence Brewer, Grace Brewer, and Alice Johnson. Survivors include her husband, James Franklin Womack; two daughters and sons-in law, Gary and Joy Newberry and Ron and Beverly Hollums; five grandchildren; Natalie Szymczak, Tiffany Boling, Brandee Santos, Amanda Thibodeaux, and Dylan Hollums; and seven great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at The First United Methodist Church, 201 N.W. 2nd Bentonville, Ark. with Randy Featherston and Reverand Eric Meyer officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Immediately followed by a memorial Service at 11 a.m. A Private family graveside burial will be held at The Bentonville Cemetery at a later time. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to  First United Methodist Church or Legacy Village Circle of Life, 1201 N.E. Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, Ark. 72712.
