Sandra G. Singletary

Sandra G. Singletary, 75, of Nashville, Tenn., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 02, 2017 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. Sandra was born on April 6, 1941, a daughter of Raymond Allen Gaskin and Theresa (Allen) Gaskin. Sandra was a homemaker married to Dr. Patrick J. Singletary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved participating in The Art Center of the Ozarks plays and musicals. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Patrick J. Singletary and one sister, Allyn Maher. Sandra is survived by her children, Patrice Chappell and husband Dwayne of Cedar Park, Texas, Jay Singletary of Nashville, Tenn., and Michele Singletary of Nashville; one sister, Kathy Easley of North Little Rock, Ark.; and four grandchildren; Patrick Chappell, Ellen Chappell, Aedan Marcum and Eli Marcum. Gathering of Friends will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale beginning at 10 a.m. The Memorial service will follow beginning at 10:30 a.m.
