Jessie Mae Vance

Jessie Mae Vance, 83, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 12, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 22, 1933, in Perry, Ark. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Birtie Bright-Chambliss. She began her family when she married the late Amos Vance on Oct. 29, 1948. In addition to caring for her family, Jessie enjoyed 27 years of service as a dietary manager at Presbyterian Village in Little Rock. Her life will forever be cherished by her daughter, Brenda and George Hemphill of Little Rock, Ark.; and two sons, Larry and Kathy Vance and Carey Vance all of Alexander, Ark.; grandchildren, April (David), Melody, Brad (Nicole), and Michael. Great Grand-children Erik (Kristen), Jessie (Rudy), and Kathryn; great-granddaughter, Elaina. Graveside services will be Thursday, February 16, at 2 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
