Leanna Dent

Leanna King Dent passed away February 12, 2017, just short of her 95th birthday. Born in Shamrock, Okla., she was the youngest of seven children of Ewing Clay King and Era Bell King. She married Harry James Dent in 1940. They were married for 62 years and had three children, Anna Belle Loeb, Janice Dent, and Jim Dent. She has two grandchildren, Anne Woodfin, and Locke Woodfin; and four great-grandchildren, Chase, Colton, Reese, and Hudson Woodfin. She will be missed by all. Leanna and Jim raised their family in the Sherwood/Sylvan Hills community and were long time members of Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church. She loved quilting, ceramics, and stained glass. She enjoyed reading, bridge, and trips to Oaklawn Park. At age 80, she became a computer enthusiast.
